Foundation Recruitment has been exclusively engaged to work with an established, principal contractor delivering projects across high compliance sectors including mining, defence, aged care and industrial sectors. 

Due to an evolving market share , they have multiple projects on the books and subsequently are now looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team.
This position is located in our clients Brisbane head office  and is a great opportunity to join a principal contractor driven by management with exceptional reputations.
The successful applicant will commence working on sub $15M, "high compliance” projects across South East and Central Queensland.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have solid experience (minimum three years) as C.A with a principal contractor in Australia.
 Key Skills Required - 
  • At least three year's experience in construction, preferably with exposure to "high compliance" projects
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously 
  • Ideally, experience using Microsoft Project, and Build Logic but not a pre-requisite 
  • Highly competent in developing and writing scope of work packages
  • Taking packages to the sub-contract market 
  • Letting Trade packages in conjunction with the Project Manager
  • Assessing progress claims and variations
Delivering projects from $500K to $15M, candidates ideal for this role will be able to demonstrate comparable experience in an “all hands on deck" culture when needed from time to time to ensure all contracting objectives are met.
Typically, applicants will have tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a “Building” related qualification and possess at least 5 years industry experience.
