Foundation Recruitment has been exclusively engaged to work with an emerging, multifaceted organisation, who deliver construction works across high compliance sectors including mining, defence, aged care and industrial sectors.
Due to their market share continuing to evolve and expand, they have multiple projects on the books and subsequently are now looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team.
This position can be located in either South East Queensland or Mackay and is a great opportunity to join an emerging principal contractor driven by management with exceptional reputations developed within the Queensland construction sector.
The successful applicant will commence working on sub $10M, "high compliance” projects across South East and Central Queensland.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have solid experience (minimum three years) as C.A with a principal contractor in Australia.
Key Skills Required -
Typically, applicants will have tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a “Building” related qualification and possess at least 5 years industry experience.

- At least three year's experience in construction, preferably with exposure to "high compliance" projects
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Ideally, experience using Microsoft Project, and Build Logic but not a pre-requisite
- Highly competent in developing and writing scope of work packages
- Taking packages to the sub-contract market
- Letting Trade packages in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Assessing progress claims and variations
