Job Description
The Role
- Join some of the industry’s best leaders, working alongside the Operations, Sales, Drafting and Building Manager. Reporting to the General Manager.
- Manage a team of up to 10, Sales, Production and Senior Estimators.
- Manage the procurement process and supply agreements
- Provide training, mentoring and development opportunities to the team
- Oversee profit margins
- Maintain bill of quantities
- Approval off all sales estimates
- Ensure your team is achieving specified time frames and quality on work produced
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in residential estimating within volume housing
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading a team of 5 or more
- Experience with Databuild software is a must
- Highly skilled in forecasting, cost planning and control and building variations
- Eye for detail and quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Trade or Tertiary qualifications desirable
- Strong knowledge of Australian building standards, local codes
- Desired is existing relationships with Queensland Suppliers
- A passion for people and the residential building industry
