Job Description
We are actively recruiting on behalf of our client for a Estimator to join the team located in their Brisbane office.
Responsibilities:
- Pricing new house designs and establishing base house costs
- Generate budget estimates, estimate of costs, and letter of offer documents
- Acquire prices for new products and finalise selection documents
- Assist in the production of Variation Price Book and Document Templates in Framework
- Produce selections variations, post contract variations, and building variations
- Place orders according to BOQs
- Establish cost saving techniques and procurement
Key Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years’ Estimating experience within residential construction is a must
- Outstanding time management with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workflow
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Estimating) would be advantages however not essential
- Great interpersonal skills to liaise with all key stakeholders
- Advanced MS Office Suite Skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Databuild and Framework knowledge
- A high level of attention to detail and drive to deliver a quality product
