Job Description

Our client established their business over 2 decades ago and are known as one of the most diverse and professional civil contractors in South East Queensland and Northern NSW. Their success to date has been underpinned by strong values focused on strong customer partnerships with an aim to provide the best service available. Operating as a “self-sufficient” Civil Contractor, our client “self-delivers” across multiple projects.

They have now expanded their service area to include the Bowen Basin and require a highly skilled Project Manager to join their team to deliver infrastructure projects.

The position is open to candidates who would be willing to DIDO from Mackay/Townsville region. Possibility to FIFO from Brisbane for the right candidate.

To be considered for this role –
  • You must have a minimum of 4 years Project Management experience on infrastructure projects such as roads and bridges ranging in value between $5m to $35m.
  • Highly self-motivated individual who possesses the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and build effective relationships with both internal and external stake holders. 
  • Experience working with principal contractors providing you with extensive exposure to the day to day commercial and contractual Project Management challenges.
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills.
  • A relevant tertiary degree within Construction Management/Engineering disciplines (is preferred but not essential).
  • Successful delivery of time and budget requirements for both high and low-value dollar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of TMR/RMS specs.
  • In addition, you will be a highly competent, and natural leader.
