Job Description

Our client is an Indigenous owned and managed company operating Australia-wide. They deliver construction, maintenance and civil projects across a wide range of industries including Defence, Mining and Infrastructure.

Due to recently awarded contracts within the Defence division, our client is seeking a Site Supervisor with a construction background to join their projects team on sites across the NT. Reporting to the Site Manager, the Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of a portfolio of building packages including Defence refurbishment works in Darwin and Katherine. 
  • The onsite coordination of the construction effort on Defence Projects ranging from $0.5M to $40M
  • Ability to effectively read and interpret drawings and contract documentation
  • Contribution and execution of Construction Methodologies and Method of Works Plans
  • Implementation of relevant SWMS, Permits, Isolations and Controls to ensure the safety of the team
  • Quality and workmanship assurance in accordance with quality management processes and documentation
  • Stock control, procurement and inventory for the direct works on site
  • Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role 
  • Trade Background and experience in supervision of refurbishment and construction projects - Defence experience advantageous
  • Frontline management experience preferred
  • Cert IV in OHS would be advantageous
  • Trade certification
  • Flexibility to work between Darwin and Katherine sites
The successful candidate will need to pass a police check and medical (including ongoing drug and alcohol testing) and be eligible for a DCAC pass.
