The project will involve pavement construction, trimming, compaction, haulage and general earthworks. We’re looking for reliable people who understand civil construction, can work safely within a mixed crew and are comfortable meeting daily production targets.
Above-Award rates and penalties apply, with consistent hours and potential ongoing opportunities for high performers.
All-Round Plant Operators will support all stages of the pavement program, including bulk earthworks, trimming, compaction, water management and general site activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating multiple machines to support pavement construction
- Roller operation for compaction and final trim
- Watercart operation for dust suppression and moisture conditioning
- Excavator operation for trimming, loading and general earthworks
- Assisting ground crews when required
- Completing daily pre-starts, basic maintenance checks and safety documentation
- Meeting production targets while maintaining safe work practices
- Roller ticket – essential
- HR licence – essential
- Demonstrated watercart experience
- Excavator ticket – essential
- Previous civil construction experience, ideally on pavement projects
- Ability to work within a structured safety environment
- Loader, skid steer, grader or dozer tickets are highly regarded
- Above-Award hourly rates plus applicable penalties
- 8–12 weeks of consistent work
- Monday-to-Friday roster, with potential Saturday work depending on the program

We want people who turn up, work hard and communicate well. Operators must be willing to move between machines and support the wider crew when required. Labourers must be hands-on, safety-focused and ready to contribute.
