Title: Building Supervisor

  • Roster: 6 weeks on 2 weeks off
  • Location: Port Moresby (Remote PNG)
  • FIFO – accommodation provided
  • Project: Building a large-scale poultry farm
  • Salary packages tailored to experience: $150k - $200k AUD

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced hands-on building supervisor to join the team on the building works of a poultry farm, the client requires someone who can coordinate footing and then put together the pre-fab shed which is on site which is described as a large Meccano set. This role is ideal for someone who has worked with the challenges of a remote setting and is hands-on in their approach to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily on-site operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel
  • Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality requirements
  • Assist with planning and scheduling of resources and materials
  • Identify and resolve onsite issues and delays proactively
  • Provide hands-on support and leadership to crews as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role on civil or structural building projects
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and ability to read technical drawings
  • Previous experience in remote or FIFO settings preferred
  • Ability to lead by example and maintain a productive, safety-focused work environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
