A well-established and highly regarded civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join their pre-contracts team due to a strong and growing project pipeline.

About the Role
You will play a key role in the preparation of accurate, competitive tender submissions while working closely with internal delivery teams and external subcontractors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed civil estimates from first principles
- Coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Reviewing contracts, specifications and client requirements
- Identifying and pricing project risks and opportunities
- Preparing trade scopes and RFT documentation
- Supporting tender reviews and post-award handovers
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
- Contributing to safety, environment and quality outcomes
- A degree qualification or significant civil construction experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating or pre-contracts
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of civil construction methods and materials
- Experience using estimating software (Buildsoft, Expert or similar preferred)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Current driver’s licence and construction induction
