Foundation Recruitment has partnered with a respected electrical contracting business to find a motivated professional to oversee project operations across the Hervey Bay and Maryborough regions.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys building strong teams, and wants to contribute to commercially significant projects across both commercial and domestic sectors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and coordinating electrical project works across Hervey Bay and Maryborough (based out of the Hervey Bay office).
- Leading and overseeing a team of 20–30 field and project staff.
- Ensuring project delivery across commercial and domestic electrical works.
- Reporting weekly to the Construction Manager.
- Attending weekly leadership meetings at the company’s Maroochydore office (every Thursday).
- Driving project success through:
- Effective planning and scheduling
- Budget management and cost control
- Strong leadership and performance management
- Proven experience managing electrical projects.
- Strong skills in project planning, coordination, budgeting, and team leadership.
- Experience working with Ergon and Energex portals.
- Experience with Simpro is highly desirable (but not essential).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
