We are seeking an experienced HR, Payroll & Recruitment Officer
to join a busy and dynamic organisation in Darwin. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to be involved in the full spectrum of HR, recruitment, and payroll functions.
About the Role
You will be the go-to person for end-to-end recruitment, accurate payroll processing, and HR compliance. Working closely with managers and staff, you will help shape workforce planning, maintain employee records, manage onboarding, and ensure adherence to relevant awards, agreements, and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for a range of operational and office roles.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee records.
- Coordinate onboarding, induction, and probation reviews.
- Support performance management and professional development initiatives.
- Administer workers’ compensation and HR programs.
- Prepare accurate reports for management and government agencies.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR and payroll, processing at least 50–60 pays per cycle.
- Experience recruiting across multiple role types.
- Strong knowledge of awards, agreements, and employment legislation.
- High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems (experience with Attache highly regarded).
