This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and follow company systems, processes, and procedures
- Answer incoming phone enquiries
- Enter customer quotes and sales orders into the system
- Serve customers at the sales counter
- Update delivery dates on customer orders
- Run monthly open order reports and follow up with customers
- Generate conformance certificates
- Conduct stocktake counts
- Run re-order reports for warehouse stock
- Liaise with transport coordinators and other sales and transport departments
- Previous experience in an internal sales or customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer skills and attention to detail
- A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential
