Long term contract opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to work with a government entity here in Darwin. The organisation is highly reputable in the utilities sector.
  • $94-$117 p/h + Super + allowances (inc casual loading)

A major government entity in the utilities sector is seeking an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to lead the development and operational management of preventative maintenance plans for key plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop weekly and monthly maintenance plans in consultation with Asset and Engineering teams, considering resourcing, backlog, and preventative maintenance requirements.
  • Improve and maintain preventative maintenance systems, ensuring availability of consumables, parts, and equipment.
  • Liaise with mechanical and electrical staff, coordinating maintenance and repair activities with accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all duties align with organisational safety, environmental and quality policies.
About You:
  • Strong background in planning and scheduling within power generation or heavy industry.
  • High competence using maintenance planning software (like Pronto), spreadsheets, and project management tools.
  • Solid understanding of industry-based WHS practices and a strong commitment to safe work.
