Contract opportunity for a Mechanic experienced in the heavy industry to work with a leading power provider in Darwin. The organisation is highly reputable and offers excellent pay.

Role Responsibilities
- Conduct on-the-ground operations work, including routine plant inspections, minor equipment isolations, equipment lubrication, routine tests and identification, investigation and where possible, rectification of plant defects.
- Support operational, technical, and shutdown maintenance tasks.
- AQF Cert III (Trade) Mechanical qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong fault-finding skills with high-quality defect reporting.
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
- Ability to work within a Permit to Work system and collaborate with operational staff.
- Competent in computer systems and reporting.
- Driver's licence
- Experience in large-scale heavy industry.
- Knowledge of Industrial Gas Turbines, ideally in power generation.
