After more than a decade in business and a strong pipeline of work, they’re looking for a Operations Manager to run the day-to-day operations and keep crews moving efficiently.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands concrete, knows how to run crews, and can keep projects organised from planning through to pour.
The Role
You’ll take charge of the daily operations across multiple sites, making sure crews are organised, jobs run smoothly, and clients stay happy.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate 5 concreting crews (each with their own supervisor)
- Maintain strong relationships with builders, consultants and suppliers
- Oversee projects to ensure quality, safety and timelines are met
- Jump in on-site when required to troubleshoot issues
- Support and develop supervisors and crew members
- Work within the company’s project management and estimating systems
- 10+ years construction industry experience
- 5+ years in a leadership role (Supervisor / Foreman / Manager)
- Strong knowledge of concrete placement and construction processes
- Trade or tertiary qualification in construction
- Good organisational and people management skills
- Ability to keep crews accountable and jobs moving
- Driver’s licence and ability to complete medical and police checks
- Established client base – plenty of repeat work
- Monday–Friday role with early starts
- Long-term opportunity with a growing Sunshine Coast contractor
