A well-established and fast-growing engineering business is looking for a Project Administrator to support its expanding operations. The company has doubled revenue year-on-year for the past three years, with strong client demand and ongoing investment in its capabilities.

This position is a key administrative and coordination hub, ensuring project information is controlled, schedules are maintained, and processes operate smoothly in line with ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project documentation systems, ensuring accuracy, control and accessibility.
- Coordinate project schedules, track milestones, identify risks and communicate updates.
- Manage procurement activities including supplier engagement, purchase orders and tracking long-lead items.
- Support financial administration such as budget tracking, invoicing, variations and progress claim preparation.
- Identify opportunities to improve project processes and assist in implementing new systems.
- Ensure all project activities comply with the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to maintain clear communication.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and track action items.
- Support sales administration, including quoting and processing small-scale parts orders.
- Strong experience in a high-autonomy project administration role.
- Experience in engineering, construction, resources or manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Skills in project procurement, risk management and document control.
- Proficient with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Simpro) and MS Office.
- Understanding of supplier/subcontractor engagement processes.
- Knowledge of project lifecycles, methodologies and basic project financial administration.
You'll work closely with the Project Manager and senior technical staff, gaining hands-on experience in contract administration, risk management and financial control. Strong performance can lead to progression into Project Coordinator, Contracts Administrator or eventually Project Manager roles.
