HSE Advisor
Are you a proactive and dedicated HSE Advisor looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in driving health, safety, and environmental outcomes across a diverse range of construction projects.

About the Role
In this position, you’ll be instrumental in the practical, day-to-day implementation of HSE systems on-site. Working closely with project teams, you’ll provide guidance, conduct inspections, and champion a strong safety culture at all levels. This is a role where you’ll have a real impact—helping to shape safe work practices and ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement & Monitor: Support the roll-out and monitoring of HSE management systems across multiple projects.
  • On-Site Support: Partner with project managers, supervisors, and crews to provide practical HSE advice.
  • Inspections & Audits: Carry out site inspections, hazard identification, and audits to maintain compliance and drive improvement.
  • Incident Management: Assist with investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Training & Inductions: Deliver site inductions and contribute to HSE training programs.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate safety records and provide input into HSE performance analysis.
  • Promote Safety Culture: Lead by example to build and maintain a strong, positive safety culture.
  • Compliance: Ensure alignment with WHS legislation, codes of practice, and policies.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5+ years’ experience as an HSE Advisor within the construction industry (commercial, civil, industrial, government, or residential).
  • WHS/OHS qualification (Cert IV, Diploma or higher).
  • Strong working knowledge of NT WHS legislation and Australian Standards.
  • Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to influence and engage site personnel.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Relevant certifications (First Aid, ICAM, White Card) are highly regarded.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
