Senior Project Manager

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to be based full time in Darwin and take ownership of projects from tender stage through to successful delivery and close-out.
 
The Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, combining commercial, contractual and operational responsibilities. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget while maintaining strong commercial outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from estimating and tendering through to delivery and final handover.
• Prepare and review tender submissions, pricing, cost plans and project budgets.
• Develop and manage scopes of work, subcontract packages and procurement activities.
• Oversee contract administration, variations, claims and project reporting.
• Manage project programmes, forecasting, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Identify and manage project risks, opportunities and commercial exposures.
• Lead and mentor project teams to drive performance, accountability and successful project outcomes.
• Support ongoing business growth through client engagement and project acquisition activities.

About You

• Proven experience in a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager role.
• Strong background in commercial construction.
• Demonstrated experience across estimating, tendering, contract administration and project delivery.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, margins and project performance.
• Experience developing scopes of work, procurement strategies and subcontractor agreements.
• Ability to lead projects through the full lifecycle from pre-contract through to completion.
• Willing to fully relocate to Darwin.
