Full-Time | Ongoing Role | Leadership Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Warehouse Leading Hand to join a busy and growing operation. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys leading by example, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring warehouse operations run efficiently.
As the Warehouse Leading Hand, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities while working alongside the team to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time. You'll play a key role in maintaining productivity, inventory accuracy, and a safe, organised workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the warehouse team with daily operations
- Coordinate the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Load and unload deliveries efficiently
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and stocktakes
- Ensure housekeeping and warehouse presentation remain to a high standard
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
- Liaise with management to meet daily operational targets and deadlines
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Leading Hand or similar supervisory role
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence (desirable)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
- Experience with inventory management and warehouse systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities
